After taking thousands of photos at the Nurburgring Nordschleife during touristenfahrten I have ended up with hundreds of pictures of the BMW ring taxi. It’s quite something the first time you see that big BMW M5 flying around the track. After a while you get used to seeing it drifting at corners like Brunchen and Steilstrecke and it becomes a part of the scenery.
Taking photos all day at the Nurburgring can be boring these days, I have spent many hours sitting next to the track waiting for a car to come by. Because of all the crashes it’s not unusual that the track is closed for more then an hour. After a closure the ring taxi and Zakspeed Viper are always the first to get back on the track. So I’m always happy when I see the ring taxi blasting past me.
