Croix en ternois trackday

And another trip to France, not to buy Champagne but to take some more pictures at Croix en Ternois. On my first visit not many cars showed up due to the bad weather. This time the weather was excellent for the time of the year. The carpark was filled with racecars when I arrived. Croix seems to attract a very broad field of cars, from little French hatchbacks to Porsches, a lonesome Ferrari and some guys and girls in their tiny Smart racecars.

Croix en ternois trackday

Croix en Ternois is a small racetrack in the north of France, on regular intervals they organize trackdays. These trackdays are also open to single seaters, you can even rent one there. Price for a full day of driving on the track in your own car is only 100Euro. Not many people showed up last sunday, probably because of the very cold weather. It frooze most of the day, not the best conditions to drive a racecar on slicks or for taking photo’s all day…

Marc Duez trackday Spa Francorchamps

Track day organized bij Belgian ex racing driver Marc Duez on a very cloudy day at Spa. The event was sold out, and a very mixed field of cars attended. Ranging from a Smart to the Belcar Aston Martin, and a lot of Seats as Seat sponsors this event. Many Porsches were also present, they are still a populair choice for trackdays. Most exotic cars of the day were two identical Ferrari 430 spiders, always nice to see a Ferrari in action on the track.
