First time I visited this fair in Essen, Germany. Techno Classica must be one of the biggest events in its kind in Europe. I’ve never seen such an interesting collection of cars in one place. Definitely the best fair I’ve ever visited, i’ll go back next year My favorite car was the beautiful Ferrari 250GTO. I also saw a Lamborghini Countach LP400 for the first time, the most exciting “wedge” car from the early seventies. Looks much cleaner then the later cars with the big spoilers and side skirts.

Another sunday at the Nurburgring. It was busy on the track but it stayed open, no closures That’s hasn’t happened for quite a while. So it was an excellent opportunity to take lots of photos. To bad it was raining in the morning, because of that my photos from Wehrseifen are not so good. The autumn colours at the Nurburgring makes this time of the year the best for photography. I took no less then 1804 photos, a personal record.

A full weekend of tourist driving on the Nurburgring… Spent 2 days at the ring, saturday was foggy all day so not the best conditions to take nice pictures. Luckily the sun came out on sunday. That also meant it was very busy on the track and lots of crashes. Saw another Ferrari 458 Italia and for the first time an Aston Martin Rapide. I’m not very fond of the Rapide, I still prefer the Maserati Quattroporte as a luxury saloon.
