Last sunday 25th October, there was a trackday at Spa Francorchamps organized by Pistenclub. The weather forecast was not to bad so I decided to go and have a look. This was not an open pitlane event, participants were split in 2 groups. Quite a lot of cars on the track, and a lot of different cars. Lots of nice Caterhams, the usual Porsche brigade and a couple of Italian exotics. Pretty weird to see a couple of single seaters on the track. 1473 photos in this gallery.

My last trip to the ring this year? Typical Eifel weather, thick fog in the morning, then sun and lots of dark clouds in the afternoon. Not so easy to get the exposure right, had to change settings every 5 minutes. Used manual settings for all my shots and some are really crap Track closed a couple of times in the afternoon, when I was walking back to Brunchen I saw an ADAC helicopter taking of, someone probably got hurt pretty bad… Between all the crashes I took some photos, 1066 pics in this gallery.

Never seen the paddock at Spa Francorchamps so busy as last saturday. When I arrived in the morning I almost couldn’t find a spot to park my car and pick up my media pass and jacket. Over 600 historic racing cars participated in this event. And a lot more spectators then last years edition showed up, that might have something to do with the very good weather for the time of the year. Saw a lot of interesting cars on the track but also parked in the paddock. For the second time in my life I saw a McLaren F1, not a racecar but for many years this was the fastest production car in the world.
